On March 24, 2012 he rented out the Titanic exhibit and proposed. On April 29, 2012 he got his dream job with the ACLU in Connecticut. Tomorrow on May 18, 2012 after a month of being apart I will be getting on a plane to be with him again. On December 2, 2012 we will be married in Connecticut. The sad part about all of this is that LGBT couples aren’t treated equally and we have to leave our families here in Texas in order to spend our lives together as a married couple. You can bet your ass’ that we are going to be fighting our ass’ off to help ensure that future LGBT couples can be married anywhere!
